Tumeric Against Inflammation
Turmeric is used as a food additive to preserve food and as a preferred spice for the peoples of South Asia. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is used to stimulate digestion due to its ability to support bile secretion by the liver.
For several years now, scientists have succeeded in isolating the curcuminoids (powerful antioxidants) present in turmeric to use them to combat rheumatism, arthritis, and various conditions related to the inflammatory process.
Compared to conventional anti-inflammatory drugs, curcumin (1,200 mg per day) has been shown to be as effective as phenylbutazone in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.1
Our oral supplement HAXtra contains 1000 mg of turmeric per 5 mL dose. In cases of severe inflammation, you can double the dose and thus have a real effect in greatly reducing your rheumatism-related symptoms!
